NYSHA Interviewed by News10 About the Bail Reform Bill

Patricia Valusek, president of  the New York State Humane Association, was interviewed Oct 24, 2019 by News 10 regarding the bail reform bill taking effect January 1, 2020.  Unlike in the past alleged animal abusers will be released on their own recognizance. Patricia Valusek stated, “That means an individual arrested for dousing an animal with gasoline and setting it on fire, and an individual running a dog fighting ring, causing the death and torture of numerous dogs, can both walk out of court on their own recognizance.” Full posting from News 10.
